The front page lists the most recent additions first, and for a reason: a serial that arrived this week has been seen by almost no one, and its free pair is the freshest thing in the catalogue. If you want to be early rather than guided, begin there and let the rating fill in later once readers have voted.
This is the route the rest of the guides cannot offer, because they update on a schedule and the platform does not.
Start with a rating
If you would sooner know the ceiling before paying, order the list by its mark out of five. A title we place at the top reaches as far as the format goes; a middling one holds nearer the tone it opened on. The figure speaks to the locked half, the half the free episodes keep out of view.
Reader votes sit alongside the editor’s mark on each page, and where enough readers have voted, theirs is the one shown.
Start with a real performer
Seven serials are built on a licensed likeness, and each costs thirty tokens an episode rather than twelve. If a real face is the reason you are here, that is the shortlist, and every one of them hands you to that performer’s own profile when the last episode ends.
It is a different offer from an invented character, and priced like one; whether the premium earns its keep comes down to whether that particular face is the reason you turned up at all.
Start with something that breaks the mould
Two titles run past five episodes: one to nine, one to fifteen. They cost more to finish only because there are more episodes, and they give a premise more room than a five-part run can. If you want the story to breathe rather than sprint, begin with one of those.
