Per episode, never per serial
There is no serial pass and no monthly tier that unlocks the catalogue. You buy episodes, and finishing one serial buys you nothing towards the next. If you have read about a subscription that opens everything, it does not describe how these are sold.
The two free episodes are the same across every title, new arrivals included, so the free sample never shrinks as the catalogue grows.
Twelve or thirty, and what decides it
Sixty-eight serials sit at twelve tokens an episode past the free pair. Seven sit at thirty, and those seven are precisely the ones wearing a real performer’s licensed face. It is the one spot in the catalogue where a genuine change in what you are getting matches a change in the price; a tile’s tags will not predict the cost, but the performer credit will.
What a whole serial adds up to
A standard five-part title means three locked episodes, so thirty-six tokens. A five-part run carrying a licensed performer, by contrast, reaches ninety. Two serials break the mould on length rather than rate: the nine-part one totals eighty-four tokens and the fifteen-part one a hundred and fifty-six, both still at twelve an episode. What grows is the episode count, not the per-episode price.
We never quote a token in currency, because the platform reprices them and a figure here would go stale fast.
Spending the free part first
With seventy-five serials each offering two free episodes, there is a great deal to try before any payment. Sample a handful, weigh each on its second free episode, and only then unlock a third. A serial page’s rating shows how far the paid half travels; the free pair is built not to reveal that.
